The tour of the State Capital in Jefferson City was a highlight.  The tour guide said that it was built in 1918 at a cost of $4M, three for the building and one million for the art, marble and stained glass. The Capital sits on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River.

The group to the right takes a short cut through a state office building while walking to the Capital Building.
