 DSC04295Friday was spent at the Kemp Auto Museum with technical presentations in the morning and afternoon.  Mercedes-Benz USA Sponsored the the day and arranged for Gunter Baeuerle to be our featured speaker.   Gunter spoke about his experiences with Max Hoffman, the "father" of the 190SL in New York City, with his years on a 300SL race team in Texas and his experiences working at Mercedes-Benz in Germany.  

After lunch, an engine tune-up tech session was presented in the restoration shop, which was taped for a possible tune-up video and a brake system presentation was presented in the Museum foyer,

P.S. David and June left Sunday morning and were able to drive home to Richmond, VA without incident.  The noise is still a mystery.
