The "After the Ball" tour is an extra couple of days of touring following the Convention.  This year, the tour went south along the Pacific Coast Highway to Half Moon Bay for the first night and father south to Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula for two additional nights.

Our fist night was at the Half Moon Bay Lodge.

We naturally found a place to our liking at the Half Moon Brewing Company for dinner.

Angie Amaro celebrated the conclusion of the Convention.

It was Father's Day and the fathers soon needed their mugs refilled.

After dinner, back at the hotel the group meet in the Board Room to plan the next day.  All in favor of "No photo ops" say "yea".

The first Monday stop was at Pigeon Point Lighthouse, one of the tallest on the west coast.

On the road to Monterey, Clint Sadler lead us to the "Sea Harvest Market" for an outstanding lunch at Moss Landing.

Tuesday we drove south to the Big Sur.

Lunch was at the very well known Nepenthe Restaurant which overlooks the extraordinarily scenic Big Sur coastline.

We ate outside with wonderful view of the coast and mountains.

We returned back up the coast.  Note the Baxter Bridge (used in many advertisements).
