WinterTech, the "Tune-up School for Dummies" began almost by accident.  At the Athens convention, Larry Rotta asked Bruce Adams if he could come up to his restoration shop in Aberdeen NC to learn how to tune his car.  A couple of other Group members were also interested and Jim Villers and Walt Puryear were recruited as instructors.  As the Forum thread began, Bill Ainsworth submitted the "text book" cover at right and interest grew.  With the growing interest, the curriculum grew to include Tune-up, Brakes, Solex, Weber, Lub & Maintenance, Detailing and special Tools.

An unbelievable Club event evolved.   45 Members attended from around the country; there were 14 members at their first group event and there were four father-son attendees.  See Attendees List.

Bruce Adams, Dean; Larry Rotta, Admissions, Jim Villers, Professor; Walt Puryear, Professor; Dave Polny, Professor and John Lewenauer, Professor.
