CLASSIC ADELAIDE
THE PERFECT PLACE TO CELEBRATE

Adelaide and the annual Classic Adelaide Rally are the perfect hosts of the 190SL Silver Anniversary Assembly.

Adelaide is the beautiful and compact, open-plan capital city of South Australia, whose German forefathers established the world-famous Barossa Valley wine-growing district immediately to its north-east.

The Classic Adelaide Rally takes full advantage of South Australia's accessibility, superb Australian landscape and magnificent driving roads. Participating in a range of both non-competitive touring and timed competition categories, entrants enjoy four days of rallying in a clover-leaf pattern, returning each evening to top class hotels in the heart of Adelaide. From there, it's just a short stroll to the official vehicle parc ferme and Adelaide's many world-class restaurants catering for a wide variety of tastes and styles.
The Entry Fee includes:
  • All maps and navigational route instructions pertaining to the rally
  • Security parking during the event
  • Lunch on each rally day for the driver and co-driver
  • Welcome Cocktail Party
  • Welcome presentation pack
  • Cocktail Party prior to the Friday night Gouger Street Party
  • Two tickets to the Black Tie Presentation Dinner held at the Adelaide Convention Centre

  • Shipping of vehicles (which includes):

    • Quarantine inspection
    • Vehicle import license procurement  Normally all vehicles coming into Australia need to have a personal import license and a separate carnet for the value of the sales tax that the Federal Australian Government places on cars. We have made arrangements with the State Government of South Australia to have both these charges under one import license and one carnet license - this saves a lot of time and especially money. We are appreciative of the South Australia Government's support and assistance in especially arranging this for our event.
    • Vehicles transferred from shipping agents to undercover handling facility
    • Inspected on site by Customs and Rally officials
    • Vehicles will be hand washed and decals fitted awaiting your arrival
